Top Consumer Health Books

Library Journal publishes several "Best of" lists of highly rated books. The first issue in February included the "Best of 2008 Consumer Health Titles." All of these titles are included in the collection of the Beaverton City Library. Here are 3 of the 24 titles from the list. See the entire list.

by David Servan-Schrediber, M.D., Viking. 2008.

Written by a doctor who was diagnosed with brain cancer, this book presents solid ideas about cancer prevention, including guarding against environmental imbalance and healing psychological wounds.
